Ashton Kutcher Had An Unexpected Post-Vasectomy Experience That Made Him Stop Smoking Weed

Ashton Kutcher rose to fame for his role on That ‘70s Show, where his character, Michael Kelso, often sat in a circle with his friends getting high. And that very much became Ashton's brand in his early career, so some might be surprised to find that the actor actually hasn’t smoked in a really long time.

He told Esquire that he recently tried a THC edible for the first time in a decade, and the result was … scary but kind of hilarious.

Despite swearing off marijuana years ago, Ashton told the outlet that he took a THC edible while at a friend’s wedding in Italy with his wife Mila Kunis.

"I haven't done a drug in 10 years," he said, before revealing that it was not a great experience. “That [expletive] did not go well."

He explained that he had recently undergone a vasectomy before taking the edible, so when he was high, he thought he lost all feeling below his waist. It was lucky that Mila was with him, as she had to help him back to their hotel room, where he then started doing calculations and was convinced that the pair of them were broke.

"We can't even afford to be here right now,” he recalled telling the actress.

He realized in the morning that his math was, in fact, very off. He told Esquire that he "had moved the decimal point" in the wrong direction while making his calculations.

"The minute weed became legal in California, I got banned from doing it," he reportedly said while laughing.
