Photos Of ‘Baby Easton’ Show Couple Allegedly Faked His Birth & Death As Part Of Scam

Following their pregnancy announcement, a couple from the outskirts of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, threw a baby shower in the months leading up to the arrival of their firstborn child. Their supportive attendees showed up to the home with clothing, diapers, and all sorts of helpful baby supplies.

Geoffrey and Kaycee claimed their son, Easton Walt, was born in July 2019. But just hours after the delivery, they said he died from a respiratory disease.

Geoffrey allegedly told authorities that he wasn't present at the hospital when Kaycee gave birth or when Easton died. Kaycee, meanwhile, allegedly told authorities she was discharged from the hospital after Easton's death.

Police were also told that a local funeral home conducted the newborn's cremation.

A GoFundMe page was set up for the so-called "grieving couple," which garnered donations totaling $550. Kind strangers from across the country also sent Geoffrey and Kaycee hundreds of dollars in gift cards, groceries, and cash, along with their sincerest condolences and messages of support.

Authorities paid a visit to Geoffrey and Kaycee's house and found a small urn with an inscription that read, "Easton Walt Lang."

But not all was what it seemed. Photographs of baby Easton were posted on the couple's Facebook pages — and there was something very strange about the baby's appearance in the pictures.
