As a kid, I absolutely loved family game night. Heck, I still love family game night!
Sitting down to play a board game with friends and family is so much fun. Plus, you get the chance to show your competitive side a bit.
Game nights are fantastic ways to spend time with family; both kids and adults get excited about timeless board games like Monopoly and Scrabble.
One Australian family sat down to spend some time together and play a game. The young daughter went to grab Snakes and Ladders from their game shelf, but what she saw made her stop in her tracks.
On top of the stack of games was a real live snake. The slithery animal was curled on top of the game box. It's almost as if it knew the game was made for snakes.

Snakes & Ladders anyone?
A Buderim family got a bit of a shock last night when they asked their young daughter to go and grab a board game for them to play!
Luckily the girl saw it before touching it and I was able to head over and relocate what turned out to be a mildly venomous Brown Tree Snake.
The snake is pretty well hidden on the shelf.
Some people aren't even able to see it. Can you find the snake?
Take a look at that first picture again and see if you can spot the snake.
Look below to see exactly where the snake is located.
There it is!
Circled in blue is the brown tree snake, a mildly venomous snake native to Australia.
Here's a closeup image of the snake. Again, it's circled in blue.
Honestly, it's a really good thing the young girl saw the snake before grabbing the game; other people might not have been so lucky.
This woman, Paula, couldn't see the snake until someone pointed it out to her.
What would you do if you found a snake on your bookshelf?
Family game night is tons of fun, but if someone gets bitten by a venomous snake, it would obviously ruin the entire night.
