Reba McEntire made a cohosting appearance on the Today show to fill in for Hoda Kotb. And when her boyfriend, Rex Linn, of three years joined her on the show — well, let's just say that it was the cutest interaction ever.
Reba, 68, shared how the two first met in 1991 while filming The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw. But their romance only began three years ago.
“We stayed in communication all those years, and then in 2020, right before the pandemic, we had dinner together and have been together ever since,” Reba explained. “I couldn’t get close enough to him.” She went on to add how great of a guy Rex is to be in love with.

Rex — or "Sugar Tot," as Reba calls him — smiled and agreed with a simple, “I like her.” Reba shared that he will be featured in her upcoming book Not That Fancy: Simple Lessons on Living, Loving, Eating, and Dusting Off Your Boots, which is set to release this October.
