Kate Winslet Gushes About Daughter Mia As She Wins Award For Their British Series

Kate Winslet gave a moving speech as she accepted the best actress award during the British Academy Television Awards. She dedicated the award to her daughter, Mia Threapleton, who acted alongside her in their series I Am Ruth, which also won for best single drama.

Kate cowrote and acted in the series. She played the role of a worried mother who watched her teenage daughter become addicted to social media. Mia played the role of her daughter on the show.
