‘That ’70s Show’ Star Danny Masterson Found Guilty Of 2 Counts Of Rape By Los Angeles Jury

Danny Masterson has been found guilty of two counts of rape. The conclusion comes after a months-long trial and subsequent retrial in Los Angeles.

A jury of seven women and five men deliberated for seven days spread out over two weeks and ultimately voted 8-4 in favor of convicting Masterson. The jury was unable to reach a verdict on the third count of rape, which involved a long-term relationship.

Prosecutors brought the retrial after a jury was deadlocked in December 2022. He had been accused of raping three women between 2001 and 2003, and also accused of drugging the drinks of the women before he committed rape.

Masterson did not testify in the trial, and his team did not bring in any witnesses to speak on his behalf. His wife, Bijou Phillips, was at the courtroom as the verdict was read.
