Woman Who Doesn’t Know She’s 29 Weeks Pregnant Gives Birth On Flight To Hawaii

Lavinia "Lavi" Mounga was sitting with family members on a plane from Salt Lake City to Honolulu, Hawaii. They were so excited for their relaxing family vacation.

Halfway through the flight, while the plane was overseas and hours from landing, the flight attendants made an announcement over the loudspeaker.

They were looking for a doctor; a woman was giving birth in the bathroom near the front of the plane and medical help was desperately needed.

The woman in labor was Lavinia – and she had just delivered a baby boy prematurely at 29 weeks.

Dr. Dale Glenn just so happened to be sitting in the back of the plane. By the time he rushed up to the front to help Lavinia and her baby, three NICU nurses who also happened to be on the same flight were already tending to her.

What are the chances?!

And here's the craziest thing: Lavinia didn't even know she was pregnant when she boarded that plane to Hawaii …
