According to Mila Kunis, her husband, Ashton Kutcher, isn't the most honest guy. Sometimes, he'll go on shows and make appearances and exaggerate a bit. But she was determined to set the record straight on an episode of the series Hot Ones, which features celebrities chatting while eating hot wings — many of which really pack on the heat.
Ashton appeared on the show back in 2019, so that was a good place for the conversation to go. Mila was asked to help "fact-check" some of her husband's prior claims. If anyone knows Ashton, it's Mila — the two have been married since 2015 and have two children together. But they also famously appeared on the sitcom That '70s Show together, which aired from 1998 to 2006.
"It's hard to think when your mouth is on fire," Mila said near the start of the video. But that might not have totally been the case for Ashton. During Ashton's appearance, he was in the midst of preparing for the role of Steve Jobs. To try to get into the role, he did his hardest to mimic aspects of Steve's life, even his rumored diet.

For some time, Steve experimented with a fruitarian diet. That means that he stuck to fruits, nuts, and grains to hit his nutrition goals. While it's an intriguing diet plan, it also seems somewhat dangerous if it's not followed correctly.
Back then, Ashton said that he was getting back pains after drinking too much carrot juice. But according to Mila, he was totally downplaying what actually happened. And Mila was blunt. "He was so dumb," she said.
"He also, I think, only ate grapes at one point," she said. "It's so stupid. We ended up in the hospital twice, with pancreatitis. So fact check, yes, it was really dumb," she said with a laugh. Next up, Mila was asked about Ashton's wardrobe.
According to Ashton, he had just gotten rid of all of his That '70s Show wardrobe and memorabilia at home. Host Sean Evans asked Mila if the home was really clear of the trucker hats and suede jackets like Ashton had claimed. That was another situation where Mila had no problem calling her husband out.
"What are you talking about?" she said. "You didn't get rid of everything! You have plenty of trucker hats and the entire '70s' wardrobe is downstairs. What is this?" The scene was especially funny, since Mila was yelling out to the audience. As it turns out, Ashton was with her during the appearance, making it more awkward.
It's possible that Ashton only said that to try to distance himself from the show. While the show helped launch both of their careers, he's been taking on bigger projects these days. Still, it makes you wonder what else he may be fibbing about on air.
Yet it was also a great way to showcase how much chemistry and respect they have for each other. Mila breaking a wall so flawlessly just shows how solid they are as a couple. The actress also wasn't afraid to dive into what their home life is like, revealing one of her biggest everyday struggles.
"I am 5'4 on a good day," the actress revealed. "My husband's 6'3. Our house is built for 6'3. I am, at all times, on tippy-toes. So I felt like that was a really good marriage compromise I made. I have ladders everywhere. I have a ladder in the closet. I have a ladder in the kitchen. I can't reach things!"
She also got the chance to gossip about one of her favorite neighbors — Conan O'Brien. According to Mila, he's one of the most genuine people in Hollywood. "He's just Conan," she said. "There's no other secondary version. Who he is on his shows is who he is in real life and so often talk show hosts are one way necessarily and then sometimes in private they're very different. Conan is just even keel, normal family, normal life, normal human being. I love Conan O'Brien."
Mila wasn't the only spouse who was asked to fact-check their partner. Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell also appeared on the show, with Kristen Bell fact-checking things that Dax had said earlier. So it's a great segment for celebrity couples — and pretty insightful as well. Ashton is lucky to have Mila in his life. It seems like she isn't afraid to call him out when need be, which can be important for a celebrity.
