A family of five was at their home in Anchorage, Alaska in November, 2018 when a terrifying 7.0 earthquake struck… and the entire incident was captured on the home's security system.
It was about 8:30 in the morning on a quiet and peaceful Alaska day. Tony was making coffee in the kitchen, feeding his infant and getting his six-year-old ready for school.
Suddenly, he felt the initial signs of an earthquake. Amidst the panic and confusion, he tried rounding up his three kids while his wife was in the back bedroom.
The dad described the frightening scene to ViralHog: "I noticed the middle child, age 4, was not upstairs and headed to get her when the earthquake grew immensely. I yelled for my wife and other children as the earthquake fully hit and decided to grab the other two that were with me. My one-year-old was in the high chair and I knew he was safe for the moment as I went for the other child downstairs.
Just as I began heading for her my wife came out of the back bedroom and we both found our four-year-old running for the front door trying to get out. My wife gathered her up and I got the other two kids."
Tony ran out of the home with his kids, barefoot in the snow, where he was joined by his wife. The family held each other in a tight embrace while they waited for the quake to subside.
As you're about to see, the family's belongings in the kitchen rattled and shook, dropping from the walls and cabinets. Thankfully, no one suffered any injuries.

"Our kids have been shaken up for days and don't want to be alone in a room," Tony says. "Every time they hear a loud noise they ask if its another earthquake."
