It’s A 90-Degree Day In July & Mother Leaves Suffering Toddler Crying Inside Locked Car

According to Cleveland Clinic, on a hot summer’s day, the temperature of a car sitting in the sun can reach dangerous levels in just 10 minutes. Now, if a child is left unattended in that car, it can lead to life-threatening consequences.

This video shared by A&E from its show, Customer Wars, shows how several customers outside a store found themselves suddenly alarmed at what to do when they came across a crying toddler left alone in a hot vehicle.

It was a 90-degree day in July in the parking lot outside of a big box store in New Jersey. In the footage, you can see a small crowd starting to nervously gather around a white minivan after claiming to hear the cries of a toddler coming from inside the locked vehicle.

When someone new arrives at the group to ask about what’s happening, you can hear someone promptly explain, “Someone left their baby in the car.”

Unsure what to do, some of the individuals standing outside the car can be seen trying to pry the windows open and reaching their arms inside as they can see a lone toddler strapped into a car seat.

Authorities arrive on the scene moments later and smash the window of the car open to get the crying toddler out. In the clip, an emergency response officer can be seen trying to comfort the little one as she tells the crowd that she’s “soaking wet” with sweat.
