Terry Crews is getting candid about how his porn addiction affected his behavior toward his wife, Rebecca King-Crews, and their children. During an episode of the Armchair Expert podcast, the 54-year-old actor opened up to Dax Shepard about his silent battle. He even recounted a time where he was "angry" with his five kids.
Terry and his wife share a son, Isaiah, and four daughters: Wynfrey, Tera, Azriel, and Naomi. He remembered a time where his porn addiction took him to his lowest point, and his family suffered a lot.
He shared that he would pick fights with his wife so that she wouldn't probe him with questions. "Poor woman," he said. "It was horrible. My kids, I would be angry at them for getting in the way."

The White Chicks star had battled with a decades-long addiction, sharing that he first discovered porn around 9 or 10 years old when he found his uncle's collection.
"I didn't even know what sex was, but I knew when I opened a magazine, all my problems were gone. It was numb. Every problem would disappear. I had to have it," he said in earlier interview with Steven Bartlett.
Terry went on to share that pornography was a way of dealing with his pain. "Drinking is a way of numbing your pain — for me it was pornography. Pornography numbed my pain. I've never been drunk or high, but porn was something that took me out."
In 2021, the couple released an audio memoir where they openly talked about the things that almost ruined their marriage and how they ultimately survived. In his 2014 memoir, Manhood, Terry touched on his addiction and infidelity.
"He's the hero of our story, in my opinion," Rebecca previously shared. "He made the choice to take this battle on and really become a better person." Their marriage has been through a lot, but the couple has been open about how they've made it through, especially with therapy.
Terry has openly talked about overcoming his addiction. He shared that at one point, he was able to watch porn for over 12 hours straight. "If I got a day off from a set and I could watch porn from 10am to 11pm at night. And I wouldn't stop. I couldn't stop. It was a splurge. I knew I had a problem, but when you tell yourself that you will stop, you just go right back."
Today, Terry talks about overcoming to show others that there is a way forward. "When you realize you are good, porn cannot survive that climate," he shared in a 2016 Facebook post. "You have to replace all bad thoughts with good ones, and cover all shame with redemption."
