Wayne Brady recently came out as pansexual. The actor opened up about his sexuality in an interview with People. Pansexual is often confused with bisexual, but the two are actually not interchangeable.
While bisexuality refers to people who are attracted to more than one gender but not necessarily all genders, pansexuality refers to people who are attracted to all people, regardless of their gender. Pansexuality holds a romantic, emotional, and/or sexual attraction to any person, without caring about their gender identity.
"To me, pan means being able to be attracted to anyone who identifies as gay, straight, bi, transsexual or non-binary," the 51-year-old TV host shared. "Being able to be attracted across the board. And, I think, at least for me for right now, that is the proper place. I took pan to mean that not only can I be attracted to any of these people or types physically, but I could be attracted to the person that is there."
Wayne isn't the only celebrity who has come out as pansexual, though. Other celebrities who have also come out include Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, JoJo Siwa, Bella Thorne, and Janelle Monáe.
