Jessica Simpson Thinks One Of Her Kids Saw Her Having Sex But Is In Denial About It

Have you ever thought about what you would do if your kids walked in on you when you were having sex? Most parents would probably freeze, and then later on maybe have a talk with their children about knocking before entering their room, or maybe even explain to their kids what was going on.

But Jessica Simpson and her husband Eric Johnson would rather do neither. Instead, the couple seem to live in a state of complete denial that one of their children walked in on them during their adult time, and apparently so does the child.

During an interview with Access at PetSafe's Unleashed event celebrating International Dog Day, the 43-year-old singer spoke about approaching a decade of marriage with Eric. She talked about their romance and parenting.

"It's good to keep the romance there, even with three kids on top of our head," Jessica shared. "It's hard, but he'll leave me little notes, because he'll wake up earlier than me. He'll leave me little letters."

"There's a lot of things that make me like, 'I can't wait to get my hands on him later,'" she said of her husband. "I think you have to have those little things as a couple that are just between you two."

She went on to express the challenges around getting in intimate time without the fear of their children walking in on them. The couple share 4-year-old Birdie Mae, 10-year-old Ace Knute, and 11-year-old Maxwell Drew.

"And now it's like our kids are so old. It's like, wow, they're gonna walk in on hanky panky time," Jessica joked. "So like, what do we do, how do we do this? Where do we go?"

But it has happened before, according to the actress. Yet she and her husband are simply in denial, "as is the child, so it's not really been something that we've talked about," she shared.

"I did just have to fill my middle child in on certain things, but luckily he didn't walk in," she explained. "I think he would stand there and be like, 'What are you doing?' He would literally talk to us."

Jessica and Eric, a former NFL player, met in 2010. He proposed to her six months after they started dating, and the couple had Maxwell and Ace before getting married in 2014.
