9-Year-Old Crashes Car With 4-Year-Old Sister In Passenger Seat: They ‘Wanted A Vacation’

Police in Utah were dispatched to the scene of a car crash in the early morning hours. For about 10 miles, the driver of a red Chevy Malibu had driven down major roads and over a central reservation before hitting another car and ultimately crashing into a truck, head-on.

A police officer went to assess the damage, and when he opened the door to the Chevy Malibu, he realized just who was sitting inside.

In a shocking twist, a 9-year-old girl had been behind the wheel — with her 4-year-old sister in the passenger seat!

Thankfully, they were both wearing their seat belts and walked away without injuries.

As it turned out, the pair of sisters had woken up around 3 a.m. and taken the family car while their parents were sound asleep, completely unaware of what was happening.
