Boss Tells Pregnant Young Woman The Server Job Isn’t For Her But He Lives To Regret It

If you have been pregnant while working at a high-pressure job, you can probably relate to the feelings of stress you experienced when you found out you were expecting and had to figure out how to tell your employer.

This video story posted by Wonderbot shares how a young woman who was expecting a baby filled out an application to work part time at a restaurant to help pay her bills, only to have the employer immediately turn her down when they discovered her pregnancy.

Lindsay Wilcox from Lakeland, Florida, was a bright young woman who graduated high school but found it difficult to land a full-time position due to the competitive job market. Luckily, Lindsay had found a true partner in her boyfriend Felix and he was able to help pay rent and other bills during various stages of their courtship.

A year or so into their relationship, the couple discovered that Lindsay was pregnant. Even though they were extremely excited to become parents, they soon felt a twinge of nervousness creep in because raising children can be a costly endeavor.

Lindsay decided that even though she was a few months along in her pregnancy, she needed to get a part-time job as soon as possible to help save money for the baby.
