Family Poses For ‘Professional’ Photos & Is Left In Hysterics When Photographer Mails Them

In May 2017, Pam and Dave Zaring were contacted by a woman who said she was an experienced, professional photographer.

Since the Missouri couple had recently gotten married and blended their two families, they thought a photo shoot was a great idea.

Along with their two young sons and Dave's mom, Sharon, the Zaring family headed to Forest Park in St. Louis for the big day.

The photographer charged just under $250 for a set of quality photos.

Nearly seven months later, a computer disk arrived in the mail. Pam opened the files on her computer and could not believe her eyes.

In May 2017, Pam Zaring was contacted by a middle-aged woman who said she was an experienced, professional photographer.

The woman was interested in doing a photo shoot with Pam and her family, offering her a very reasonable price.

Since Pam had only been married to her husband Dave for a few years, the Missouri wife and mom thought a photo shoot sounded like a great idea.

Pam and Dave blended their families and have two sons.

Cade is 12 and Connor is 8.

Dave's mom, Sharon, is also an important part of the Zaring family.

As you can see, Pam loves posing with her family. So, she and Dave scheduled a photo shoot with the photographer.

Pam, Dave, their two kids and Grandma Sharon headed to the picturesque Forest Park in St. Louis and spent the day posing for some lovely shots.

However, months passed by and the family never received any photos back from the photographer.

They had all but forgotten about them…

Then, nearly seven months later, in January 2018, the photographer told Pam the photos were ready.

The Zaring family received a package in the mail containing a disk.

Pam opened the files on her computer — and she could not believe her eyes.

What on earth?!

The faces in the photos looked nothing like Pam and her family, let alone actual human beings!

Luckily the dogs made it out unscathed.

“Ok. This is NOT a joke,” Pam wrote on Facebook. “We paid a photographer, who claimed to be a professional, $2-250 for a family photo shoot.

Please see these FOR REAL photos she delivered to us….She said the shadows were really bad on the beautiful, clear, sunny day and that her professor never taught her to retouch photos.

I literally have not laughed this hard in YEARS!!!!!

You can't make this stuff up…..again, this is NOT a joke – final product."

Cade and Connor were so confused by the images that they thought their parents were playing some kind of joke on them.

With their two-dimensional, cartoonish faces, the family's photos are being likened to Lego people!

After Pam uploaded the photos to Facebook, they quickly went viral… leaving viewers in hysterics.

Hundreds of thousands of people are now commenting and sharing them all across the world.

Pam says the photographer admitted her teacher never taught her how to retouch photos using Photoshop.

She offered to do another shoot, but Pam declined the offer.

She also declined a refund.

"Also putting this out there!! Please continue to keep this fun and silly, and be kind. In no way is this post meant to be vicious," Pam added.

"It was worth the money we spent for the humor we received!!!!

I hope y’all have laughed as hard as we have!!!!"

Pam has some advice for anyone looking to hire a professional photographer: Do as much research as possible.

However, she's forever grateful for all the laughs these pictures have provided and will continue to provide.

"This has been worth every dime that we spent."
