The holiday season can be busy and stressful. One toddler from Meriden, Connecticut, and a UPS driver are reminding people to take the time to appreciate the little things of the season. Owen was so excited when Frank Sims made a stop at his house.
Owen couldn’t contain his gratitude and made sure to say "thank you." He also gave Frank a big hug and told him he loved him. Frank was touched and promised to put a good word in with Santa Claus. All this was caught on their Ring doorbell camera, which Owen’s mom Lillian May posted on Facebook.
“It was very cute,” Lillian mused to People. “Day care told me this week that they've been focusing a lot on the different holidays. So Owen has been getting more and more excited about Christmas and about Santa."
After posting the video to Facebook, many people in the community reached out to her to tell her Frank was a great guy. She decided to share the footage with the local news station to recognize his kindness. He also helped the family with their dog.
“Frank really took to [Owen]. It was so sweet and genuine. It was a great moment. All day, we kept looking back at the video from our camera and it made our day," she explained. "I just wanted him to get a little recognition just for going out of his way to be nice to us and making Owen's day.”

Frank and Owen reunited in a follow-up story by WVIT. Frank gave Owen his very own UPS beanie.
“Seeing how happy he is. That’s just definitely reminded me a lot of my son,” Frank mused. “What I’m bringing somebody could be that special gift that maybe they couldn’t get or definitely don’t know that they’re getting.”
