Lyette Reback grew up as an only child. She never spent her after-school hours babysitting for neighbors, and she never changed a dirty diaper.
But deep down, despite her lack of experience, Lyette always knew she was meant to have a big family of her own. And I mean a big family.
Lyette met her husband, David, when they were 19 years old. Just 10 days later, they were married. Two years later, Lyette was pregnant with her first child, a daughter. The rest is history.

The hardworking couple from Palm Beach, Florida, went on to have six boys and nine more girls: 11 biological children and four whom they adopted.
Lyette's friends would call her crazy. Strangers would scoff at the idea of raising so many children. After all, we're talking 88 different sports practices a week; 42 loads of laundry a week; and $650 in groceries from a wholesaler each week, including 12 gallons of milk, 100 eggs, 40 pounds of chicken, and 50 pounds of potatoes. That's a lot of big numbers.
Oh, and Lyette also homeschools all of her children from their three-bedroom home.
But Lyette and David say they were meant to be parents to so many kids … and they weren't finished growing their family yet.
