Parents pass down many things to their children, such as personality traits, hair color, and even medical conditions. Paris Hilton took to TikTok to announce that her son Phoenix got it from his momma. His “clubitis” means he loves to get down in the club, just like his mother.
Paris posted an adorable video of him dancing and bobbing along to her song “Lighter,” which was a collaboration with Steve Aoki. Phoenix busted a move in his baby walker. The flashing lights added to the ambience.
Paris overlaid the text: “When you realize that clubitis is hereditary and your mom is Paris Hilton,” on the video of Phoenix grooving. This was not an isolated incident. The next day Paris shared even more footage.
The following day, Phoenix took his dancing skills on the road. Paris posted a video of him moving and shaking on an airplane. You can hear her cheering him on in the background.

The first clubbing video was captioned: “#Sliving runs in the family #MiniSliver .” The plane video was captioned: “Baby P Sliving on the plane✨ ✈️✨” Sliving is a term Paris invented. It is a combination of slaying and living. You are sliving when you are looking good, living your best life.
Paris is now a mother of two. Phoenix was born in January 2023 and daughter London was born in November 2023. Both came into the world with the help of a surrogate. Paris did not disclose either the pregnancies at the time and chose to simply announce the births.
Paris opened up about the decision to use a surrogate on her reality show Paris in Love. “The surrogacy process, it was definitely a difficult decision to make. But my life has just been so public,” she explained. Paris and husband Carter Reum worried about safety. “So even though the baby is biologically mine and Carter's, we decided to have a surrogate carry him,” she added.
Carter completely agreed with Paris and even worries about privacy and safety in the future. “Now having a family with Paris, we want our family to grow up and be normal and not always be known as Paris Hilton's children. We have to think about safety,” he explained. “When we go to the farmer's market, it's one thing if someone stops and asks Paris for a photo. It's a whole other thing with the baby in tow in a stroller.”
Since announcing her children’s births, Paris has been chronicling her motherhood journey on her reality show and social media. This isn’t without controversy. She admitted she did not change any of Phoenix’s diapers in his first month of life. Someone else handled that.
Paris also dealt with online haters when she shared a photo of Phoenix and many commented on the size of his head. “Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or anyone else's for that matter, is unacceptable…. If I don't post my baby, people assume I'm not a great mother and if I do post him, there are some people who are cruel and hateful. I'm a proud working mom and my baby is perfectly healthy, adorable and angelic,” Paris responded in her Instagram stories.
