Australian Mom Makes A Terrifying Discovery In Her 3-Year-Old Son’s Underwear Drawer

Australia is a beautiful place, but it is home to many terrifying creatures. One of these is the eastern brown snake, whose venom can be deadly. One mom found one of these slithering beasts in her 3-year-old son’s underwear drawer.

Mark Pelley, who is known as the Snake Hunter, stepped in to help this mama out. No one wants a snake in their underwear drawer. He posted details of the removal across his social media platforms.

The mom went to her son’s drawer to get some clothes and made the terrifying discovery. The snake was 5 feet long. Eastern brown snakes are the second most venomous snake in the world.

The mom can be heard wondering in the video how the heck the snake got there in the first place. She and Mark deduced that the snake probably snuck into some folded laundry. The mom had hung some laundry outside to dry and used a basket to carry it inside. While she was folding, the snake may have snuck inside the basket with the already folded clothes. She must have put the snake in her son’s drawer along with the clean laundry.

Mark can be heard on the video searching for the snake in the drawers. “There it is!” He proclaimed when he finally found it. “That’s not something you see every day. That’s impressive, isn’t it?” Eastern brown snakes have caused 60% of snake bite deaths in Australia in the last 20 years.
