Sofia Richie could not contain her excitement when she found out that she is pregnant with a baby girl. In a video posted to her TikTok on Sunday, January 28, 2024, the 25-year-old model shared the moment that she and her husband Elliot Grainge (and their dog) learned the gender of their child.
"Sorry to all my neighbors for the horrifying scream ," the social media personality captioned the post. In the video, the couple is seen standing in their backyard with their dog moments before Elliot revealed the gender through a party popper.
"Ready?" Sofia asked her husband before counting down from three. As soon as the popper released and showered down pink confetti, the model let out a scream and ran around her yard. She eventually fell down to the ground in excitement while Elliot stood in complete shock with his hand over his mouth.
After calming down, Sofia made her way to her husband and they embraced each other in a hug. "I'm so excited!" she exclaimed.

“I love the YouTubes and the TikToks — even before I was talking about getting pregnant — of gender reveals, so we had our OB text my assistant Becca [our baby’s gender], and we bought two party poppers: one blue, one pink," Sofia shared. "She left out the one with the correct color inside, and Elliot and I popped it together. We both really thought it was a boy, so it was a true shock. My dream in life is to have a daughter [though], and Elliot is really excited for a girl too."
