Jodie Turner-Smith Breaks Silence, Says Her Divorce From Joshua Jackson Is Not A ‘Failure’

Jodie Turner-Smith doesn't regret her decision to file for divorce from Joshua Jackson in October 2023. In an interview with The Times, the 37-year-old British actress and model broke silence concerning her split from the 45-year-old Canadian actor. “Sometimes things we really want to work just don’t end up working," she explained of the former couple's four year marriage. "And that’s OK. The most important thing is that you choose what’s healthiest for you and your family and definitely your children."

She went on to share that people should take the time throughout their life to pause and ask if they're being true to themselves. "If the answer is no, then you have to make a move because I believe that there are visible scars from staying in places that are not good for us," she said. "And they don’t just affect us, they affect everybody around us."

"I don’t think it’s a failure," she continued, speaking of her ended marriage. "We obviously had such a beautiful moment together. And now it’s time for a new moment for both of us. And how exciting!"
