Jodie Turner-Smith has filed for divorce from her husband of almost four years, Joshua Jackson, Today reported. The 37-year-old British actress and model cited "irreconcilable differences" as the cause for their separation, which she listed as having taken place on September 13, 2023.
She filed for divorce on October 2, 2023. The Queen & Slim actress is requesting joint custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Juno Rose Diana Jackson. A source close to the pair shared that the former couple had been having challenges for a while now.
"Jodie and Joshua have been having issues lately," the source shared. "They celebrated Jodie’s birthday on September 9 at The Flower Shop in NYC, but arrived separately and left separately. It was a big party and they were distant throughout the night and barely around each other. Jodie spent majority of the evening downstairs."
The former Dawson's Creek star and the model met in 2018. Jodie shared that they had a one-night stand when they first met at a party. The former couple got engaged not once, but twice, with Jodie popping the question first. Joshua, who wanted to do an old-school proposal, then turned around shortly after and asked for Jodie's hand in marriage. They tied the knot in 2019 and welcomed their daughter in 2020.

In a 2021 interview with People, Jodie shared how Joshua was loving and supportive. “I think it’s really beautiful to be with someone who is so supportive and so loving,” she said. “We’re so similar in so many ways. We’re like mirrors for each other. And I just really love that human being.”
