In Sharon Stone’s 2021 memoir The Beauty of Living Twice, she alleged that an unnamed producer asked her to sleep with Sliver costar Billy Baldwin to make his performance better. In 2024, she appeared on The Louis Theroux Podcast and named the film's producer, the late Robert Evans. Billy remembers things a bit differently than Sharon.
Billy took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, on March 12, 2024, to share his side of the story. He doesn’t understand why Sharon is bringing this up now. He claims she was the one hitting on him.
“Not sure why Sharon Stone keep talking about me all these years later?” his tweet began. “Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I shunned her advances? Did she say to her gal pal Janice Dickinson the day after I screen tested and ran into them on our MGM Grand flight back to New York… 'I'm gonna make him fall so hard for me, it's gonna make his head spin.' ???”
Billy then goes on to remind Sharon that two can play this game. “I have so much dirt on her it would make her head spin but I've kept quiet,” he continued. “The story of the meeting I had with Bob Evans imploring him allow me to choreograph the final sex scene in the photo below so I wouldn't have to kiss Sharon is absolute legend.”

Regardless of what actually happened behind the scenes, it is clear that there is no love between Sharon and Billy these days. “Wonder if I should write a book and tell the many, many disturbing, kinky and unprofessional tales about Sharon? That might be fun,” Billy concluded. He attached a picture of their sex scene to his post.
