Donald Trump’s new look is unleashing the web. According to the New York Post, the American president, always known for his unmistakable golden-blond mane, was photographed with significantly darker, almost brown hair.
The change was noticed on Friday, shortly after Air Force One landed, as Trump headed to his Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, to spend the weekend.
The images quickly went viral on social networks, sparking surprise and irony. Trump has, in fact, very rarely modified that mane, of which he is particularly proud and which over the years has become one of the most recognizable features of his image.
“If I hadn’t downloaded the photos myself from Getty Images, I wouldn’t have believed it,” commented one user.
The next day, the tycoon played a round of golf with Fox News journalist Bret Baier, but wore a red cap with the words “Trump was right about everything,” revealing very little of the new shade.
It therefore remains to be seen whether this is a temporary change or a new look destined to last.
