Rebel Wilson Reveals The Name Of The Actor ‘A–hole’ She Wrote About In Her Book

Rebel Wilson doesn't want to be "silenced." The comedian previously spoke about an unnamed "a–hole" who is mentioned in her book, and now she's shared who that "a–hole" is: English comedian and actor Sacha Baron Cohen. Her memoir, Rebel Rising, will be available on April 2, but she wants to be clear about who she wrote about in one of the chapters in the book. "I will not be bullied or silenced by high priced lawyers or PR crisis managers," she wrote via her Instagram Story. "The 'a–hole' that I am talking about in ONE CHAPTER of my book is: Sacha Baron Cohen."

Sacha Baron Cohen, 52, and Rebel Wilson, 44, were costars in The Brothers Grimsby in 2016.

Previously, Rebel had alluded to an "a–hole" mentioned in her book but did not provide details. She posted a video on Instagram that she captioned with, "Do you wanna know why I have a 'no a–holes' policy now with people I work with? …Well it’s all in the book."

In the video, she explained that when she "first came to Hollywood," other people told her about how they have "a no-a–holes policy that means, like, I don't work with a–holes."

At the time, it sounded "logical" to her but it took some time before she fully understood what they had been talking about.

"Then it really sunk in what they were meaning by that, older people in the industry," she explained in the video.

"Because I worked with a massive a–hole, and, yeah, now I definitely have a no-a–holes policy chapter on said a–hole," she continued.

It's clear now that the guy that she worked with was Sacha Baron Cohen. Those who read her book will be able to find out more in chapter 23, she said.

"That guy was a massive a–hole," she added.

A rep for Sacha called Rebel's claims "demonstrably false." According to the rep, there is "extensive detailed evidence" that shows that her claims are false.

This "evidence" includes "contemporaneous documents, film footage and eyewitness accounts from those present before, during and after the production of 'The Brothers Grimsby,'" according to the rep.
