When you are the daughter of two famous parents like Kelly Osbourne, you get used to living in their shadow. It is not always easy. Kelly is making sure to inform the world there is a difference between herself and her mom Sharon Osbourne.
Kelly recently lost 85 pounds. Many have speculated she took Ozempic. She clarified in an interview with Extra that she lost weight through lifestyle changes while Sharon took Ozempic. Kelly doesn’t think taking weight-loss drugs is bad but wants the world to know that wasn’t her story.
Kelly is aware of what people think. "I know everybody thinks I took Ozempic," she explained to Extra. "I did not take Ozempic. I don't know where that came from. My mom took Ozempic."
Kelly says her weight loss was inspired by her son. Sidney was born in 2022. Kelly shares him with boyfriend Sid Wilson.

"I had gestational diabetes and I had to lose the weight that I had gained during pregnancy," Kelly went on to say. "Otherwise I was at a higher risk of actually getting diabetes, which I did not want. I cut out sugar and carbohydrates and I rapidly lost weight."
Kelly made sure to stress she doesn’t judge anyone who uses medications to help with weight loss. It is just not her truth. "There are a million ways to lose weight. Why not do it through something that isn't as boring as working out?" she mused.
Kelly believes people who judge those who use weight-loss drugs need to get over themselves. "People hate on it because they want to do it,” she stated. “And the people who hate on it the most are the people who are secretly doing it or pissed off that they can't afford it. Unfortunately, right now it's something that is very expensive, but it eventually won't be because it actually works."
Sharon lost 40 pounds on Ozempic. She struggled with the side effects of the drug. "The first couple of months, I just felt nauseous. Every day I felt nauseous, my stomach was upset, whatever," she recalled.
Ozempic may have worked a little too well for Sharon. "I'm too gaunt, and I can't put any weight on," she told the Daily Mail. "I want to because I feel I'm too skinny. I'm under 100 pounds, and I don't want to be." Still, she doesn’t regret using the drug because it gave her quick results.
