Fans were beyond shocked when Paul Walker died in a car crash in 2013. Paul is still a fan favorite from the Fast & Furious film franchise, and he's generally known as having been a nice person both inside and outside of Hollywood.
That makes his dating history all the more complicated for fans and followers. It turns out that prior to Paul Walker's death, he was in a relationship with 23-year-old Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell — and the two had begun dating when he was 33 and she was only 16.
One fact that is particularly concerning is that when Paul and Jasmine began their relationship, she was only 16, but the age of consent in California is 18 years old, which means Jasmine was a minor at the time.
Jasmine wasn't the first teenager who was Paul Walker's girlfriend. As the Las Vegas Sun wrote, prior to Jasmine, Paul had been in a relationship with Aubrianna Atwell, who was also 16 when she met the actor. The two reportedly had an off-and-on relationship for "several years."
There's no evidence that Paul and Jasmine had a sexual relationship while she was a minor, but an adult simply having a romantic relationship with a minor is still problematic.

What was clear is that Jasmine struggled for some time after Paul's death. Her father, Casey Gosnell, told In Touch Weekly in 2014, "I have her in grief counseling. You have to understand that she is still terribly wounded by Paul’s death and will be for a long time."
Jasmine dropped out of the public eye in 2018 and reportedly got engaged to musician Travis Turpin, but there has been no public confirmation that they ever got married.
