Former Rep. George Santos Lets Once-Denied Drag Persona ‘Out Of The Closet’ After 18 Years

Former member of Congress George Santos is finding a new way to make money: drag. The disgraced US representative is unleashing his drag persona, Kitara Ravache, after previously denying her existence multiple times. In a video he released, he says the persona is for a "great cause" and will be "very limited" on Cameo.

"Hey you messy [expletive]. So Kitara is coming out of the closet after 18 years — thanks to all of you," he stated in a video. "So if you want to get yourself a Katara Ravache Cameo, it is going to be super limited to a couple of days with the intent to raise money to support Tunnel to Towers Foundation."

Tunnels to Towers Foundation is a charitable organization that was founded in tribute to New York Fire Department firefighter Stephen Siller, who was killed on September 11, 2001, during the 9/11 attacks. George ended his video by telling people to start ordering because it's going to "be fun."

On X, formerly known as Twitter, he also made a post. "Y'all weren't ready for this drop? I've decided to bring Kitara out of the closet after 18 years! ." It doesn't seem like he has many people on his side, however.

"Can we stop giving this person a platform?" one person wrote. "He needs to stay irrelevant," another person said. "All the harm he tried to cause the LGBTQ+ community and here he is trying to pay the bills with the same energy he denied and villainized."
