Jerry Seinfeld doesn't enjoy family vacations. In a conversation with Jimmy Fallon, the comedian explained that he "hates" family vacationing, and his wife hates going with him. He added that his kids also hate going on vacation, but they all go anyway. "What don't you like about a vacation?" Jimmy asked him, seemingly mystified by Jerry's confession.
"Everything," Jerry answered. But he doesn't see going on vacations as a big deal because he's not bothered by doing things that he dislikes, he explained.
Jerry, 70, and his wife, Jessica, 52, have three children: Sascha, 23, Julian, 21, and Shepherd, 18.
Jerry explained that when he has a "bad time" on vacation, it bothers his wife. "It's tough on her," he explained. He, in contrast, is not bothered because he "knew it was gonna suck."
While he might not enjoy the trip itself, he does have something to look forward to when he goes on vacation: complaining about it.
"I'm going to complain about it, which is something I do enjoy," he said. "I love complaining."

Jerry used Jet Skis as an example to explain why he hates vacations. He described Jet-Skiing as pointless because it doesn't take you anywhere; instead, you spend lots of time moving around only to end up in the same place that you started. But the real reason Jerry hates vacations seems to have more to do with his personality.
This is how he described himself: "I am a very happy person hating everything throughout my entire life."
