Genya Markon, who is in her late 70s, lives in a beautiful Hamptons home that her family bought using the inheritance from her aunt, who survived the Holocaust.
In September 2019, a real estate broker named Julie reportedly rented Genya's home, which is valued at $675,000.

She was supposed to leave in June after her seasonal lease was up.
But when Genya made the 6,000-mile journey back from her winter trip to Israel, she found Julie was still living there, refusing to vacate the property or even open the door.
Because of the pandemic, Julie claimed she didn't have the means to find another place to live.
