On June 21, 2024, former member of Congress George Santos announced he can now be found on OnlyFans. George has launched a page on the content platform and promised insight into "the full behind the scenes access to everything I'm working on" for $29.99 a month.
George shared the news on X, where he wrote in full, "The moment you've all been waiting for! Only on #OnlyFans will you get the full behind the scenes access to everything I'm working on. see ya all there!"
In a second post, George clarified that his page on the platform, which is predominantly used to share adult content, will be clean. He added, "Ok y’all got your panties in a bunch… The only fans is Not adult content. I decided to go with only fans because I wanted to stir the pot. Folks need to stop being so sensitive…"
The move comes after George's failed bid to run for Congress again, an attempt he announced in March. He said at the time, "After a lot of prayer and conversation with my friends and family, I have made a very important decision that will shake things up. Tonight, I want to announce that I will be returning to the arena of politics and challenging Nick [LaLota], for the battle over #NY1."
But in April, George shared on X that he had ended his campaign. He said in part, "I don’t want my run to be portrayed as reprisal against Nick Lalota… Although Nick and I don’t have the same voting record and I remain critical of his abysmal record, I don’t want to split the ticket and be responsible for handing the house to Dems… It is clear that with the rise of antisemitism in our country we cannot afford to hand the house to Dems as they have a very large issue with antisemitism in their ranks… Staying in this race all but guarantees a victory for the Dems in the race…"
