Kim Kardashian Might Replace Vanna White On ‘Wheel Of Fortune’: ‘Bring Whole New Audience’

After Pat Sajak announced that he was retiring, Vanna White made the decision to stay on Wheel of Fortune. Now, some have said that she seems to be reconsidering this decision — and Kim Kardashian is reportedly being considered as a possible replacement for her.

Pat was replaced by Ryan Seacrest, and although the next season of the show hasn't premiered yet, Vanna and Ryan have started filming. An insider previously told the Daily Mail that "there is a part of [Vanna] that wants to walk away sooner" than she initially planned because working with Ryan just isn't the same as working with Pat, whom Vanna described as "a true lifelong friend."

A source told Life & Style that Vanna and Ryan "have zero chemistry and no vibe," so producers are rumored to be considering other options.

Ryan reportedly has a different vision for the show, which is part of the reason why Kim Kardashian is allegedly being considered as a potential replacement for Vanna.

"Ryan wants to make the show younger and sexier. He’s responsible for the Kardashian reality show and believes in that family more than anyone!" a source told Life & Style.

The insider told the outlet that "Kim Kardashian is at the top" of the list of possible replacements that producers have compiled.

Part of the appeal is that "Kim is a very close friend of Ryan’s and would bring a whole new audience," the source said.

A source previously told Daily Mail that although Vanna wants to continue working on Wheel of Fortune, she also recognizes that "the show needs to go in a different direction and appeal to a younger demographic."

"This will require a younger female host, someone who can be to Ryan what she was to Pat," the source told the outlet.

Is Kim Kardashian the answer, and would she even be interested? According to Life & Style, no offer has been made yet.

However, the outlet reported that "people close to Kim" say that she would be open to the idea and would consider joining the show as Ryan's cohost.

Vanna and Pat worked on Wheel of Fortune together for more than 40 years, so they shared many "memories, milestones and life events" with each other, as Vanna said during her farewell video for Pat.

"No one really ever expected her to [connect with Ryan like she did with Pat]," the Daily Mail source said. "There is just no way that she possibly could."
