More and more details about what may have gone wrong in reality TV star Christina Hall's marriage to Josh Hall before they went their separate ways are emerging — and it sounds like Christina's over it all already. In a new Instagram post, Christina called Josh an "insecure man with a big ego," hitting back after a report was published claiming that Josh was blindsided by their divorce. On July 25, 2024, a source told TMZ that Josh was surprised Christina wanted a divorce, and that despite their "ups and downs," he didn't think a split was in the cards for them.
"We're told Josh was seriously committed to Christina … as his social, professional and romantic lives all revolved around her," said TMZ's report.
Now, Josh is feeling like he "lost his whole world," especially since he was committed to Christina's three kids, Taylor, Brayden, and Hudson.
According to the source, "Josh felt they grew together as a couple … as they had been able to buy their dream home in Newport Beach and undertake various TV projects."
The insider went on to say that Christina reportedly stopped speaking to Josh after they had a disagreement and would only communicate via her lawyer, and that was that.

But that may not be the whole story — at least, not according to Christina, who took to her Instagram Stories later on July 25 to respond to the reports. It seems like she knew something like this was coming …
"Over here waiting for the typical Hired PR rep speech of 'how I was blind-sided and how I'm working on myself and taking time to heal at her ranch … Meanwhile, I'm over here not as nice and quiet as I used to be …" she wrote.
In another slide, she went on to say that after how hard she's worked to build this life for herself and her children, "anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve/ what they did NOT work for should be ashamed."
"For those that aren't aware … divorces do not happen overnight … & there is always a breaking point. This one is personal …" she continued.
She also mentioned the TMZ report directly, even including a screenshot of the article so her followers would have context for what she was about to say.
Addressing the part where Josh claimed she stopped speaking to him, Christina said she didn't block him, and that he didn't attempt to call or text her — including on her birthday.
"Something's not adding up here," she wrote. "But I'm down to keep playing Christina vs. The Victim as I love this game."
