Elon Musk is allegedly "withholding" his children from family, according to his ex's mom. On Saturday, July 27, 2024, the grandmother of three of Elon's children, Sandy Garossino, took to X, the platform that Elon, 53, owns, to ask where the kids were. Sandy is Grimes' mom. Elon Musk and Grimes, 36, whose full name is Claire Elise Boucher, were first linked to each other in 2018 and dated off and on for some time. They share three children: X Æ A-Xii, 4, Exa Dark Sideræl, 2, and Techno Mechanicus, 2.
The three children were reportedly supposed to be with their dying great-grandmother over the weekend, but Sandy spotted Elon and X at the Paris Olympics when she was watching TV, she said on X.
Sandy, who is a writer and former trial lawyer according to her X bio, reached out to Elon via a series of posts on X because she said she had no other way of getting in contact with him.
"Dear Elon @elonmusk, It was nice seeing you on Father’s Day. I hope you got the card that I helped X make. He was so proud of it," she began.
"I’m writing here as the only way I have to reach you," Sandy continued. "As you know, my 93 year old mother is now at end-of-life palliative care."
She continued in another post, adding that the children's great-grandmother "yearns to see and hold Claire’s children one last time. Especially the youngest, whom she has not yet met."

According to her posts, the children were supposed to celebrate their great-grandmother's birthday with her over the weekend. However, they weren't there. Sandy doesn't even know where the kids are, though she noticed that Elon and X were at the Olympics in Paris, which made her wonder where the other children might be.
"[The children's great grandmother] was thrilled for the kids’ planned visit to celebrate her birthday this weekend. Today," Sandy continued on the platform. "But those hopes were crushed when the trip was canceled."
Sandy said she found out that the children couldn't make it because Elon is "withholding them and their needed passport documents from Claire."
"It was even more troubling to see you and X on television at the Olympics in Paris yesterday, after your DC trip earlier in the week," she added.
When asking about the children's whereabouts, her approach became more direct: "Where are the other children, and with whom?" she asked.
"They are scheduled to be with their mother," she claimed. "They were expected here in Canada."
In her last several posts, she begged Elon to stop "withholding" the children and to let them see their family.
"I write with a grandmother’s plea, asking you to honour your agreement, return the children, and provide the documents they need to see their great grandmother before she passes," she wrote to Elon on the platform.
"Some moments in life last forever, and we get no second chances," she explained. "Family is priceless."
She concluded the series of posts with, "Please Elon, I beg you. This is so painful for my mother, and concerning for the kids. Time is of the essence now."
X users responded to Sandy's letter to Elon, calling his alleged actions "horrific," "inexcusable," and "so sad."
Elon has been active on X since Sandy shared the posts, but he has not responded to her posts on X.
