Clay Aiken's son is growing up, and recently made his TV debut. Clay's son, Parker, 15, joined his family on an episode of Celebrity Family Feud. Clay and Parker were joined by Clay's mom and brother, and Parker's mom. They competed against David Foster and Katharine McPhee Foster's family. David's daughter Amy, Katharine’s sister Adriana, and David's stepson Brandon Jenner were part of Team Foster. On the surface, Clay and Katharine have something obvious in common: they were both runners-up on American Idol (Clay was runner-up on season two and Katharine was runner-up on season five).
But their connections don't end there.
"We got a very mixed family up here on stage," Clay pointed out to the show's host, Steve Harvey. Clay and Katharine "are not just two American Idol runner-ups, but we got some Fosters on both sides of the aisle too," Clay explained. Parker's mother Jaymes is also David Foster's sister.
"That’s David’s sister?" Steve Harvey asked.
"That’s David’s sister and David’s nephew, yes," Clay confirmed, adding that "David's sister Jaymes is on the right team. She wanted to win tonight."
In a 2008 interview with People, Jaymes spoke about parenting with her best friend Clay. At the time, she had just given birth to Parker, who was conceived via in vitro fertilization.
"[Clay and I] love each other dearly and deeply as friends, but I think as parents now, there’s an even greater bond, certainly for me," she said at the time. "Our job is to remain best friends for the rest of our lives and that's the most important thing for Parker."

When Clay introduced Parker on the show, he said that he's "making his TV debut." "What's up," Steve greeted Parker, giving him a fist bump.
Team Aiken ended up defeating Team Foster and gave the $25,000 they won to the National Inclusion Project.
