Henry Winkler is a happy grandfather — he even dances on TikTok with his grandchildren. But he does have some rules in place for when his grandkids visit, he shared with People. The Happy Days actor, 78, has six grandchildren. He has been married to his wife Stacey since 1978, and they share two children Max, 38, and Zoe Emily, 42. He also has a stepson, Jed Weitzman, 51.
When speaking to People, Henry said that he now has "six and three-quarters grandchildren" because his seventh grandchild hasn't been born yet.
When his grandchildren, India, Ace, Lulu, Jules, Gus, and Francis Joan, visit his house, they have to follow a few rules, he told People.
He emphasized that there are "only a few" rules, but all of his grandchildren have to follow them.
"When the youngest granddaughter is sleeping, there is no fighting," he told People. "There is no yelling. They are in charge of their friends to keep it down."
Additionally, they have another important rule to follow. "No matter what age they are, from 14 to 7, they have to clear their dish," Henry told the outlet.

Henry has shared videos that feature him dancing with his grandchildren on TikTok, but he has said that he's only on TikTok because of his grandchildren. "My oldest granddaughter, India, said 'Papa, you have to make a TikTok,'" he previously shared on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
Although it was his grandchildren's idea, he admitted that he "loves dancing." In 2022, Henry shared another rule that he has in place, and it's related to the music that he and his grandchildren dance to.
Although one of his granddaughters, Lulu, is in charge of choosing the songs that they dance to, Henry will not dance to song that have the F-word in them.
"We threw a lot of songs out because I said, 'I cannot have the word f— in the music,'" he told Page Six. "That’s it, I don’t have a lot of requests but that’s one of them."
In one of the videos shared on TikTok, he and a few of his grandchildren danced to "When I Grow Up" by The Pussycat Dolls.
Henry clearly loves spending time with his grandchildren, though he's found that being a grandparent is very different from being a parent.
"It is different, completely different than being a parent," he told People. "But it is filled with the same emotion."
