Two sisters mysteriously disappeared from their neighborhood in Scotland, leaving many questions unanswered. The two, who are a part of a set of triplets, were last seen on January 7, 2025, in the early morning hours. Just before the 32-year-old siblings vanished, CCTV footage showed them walking around Aberdeen, a city in northeast Scotland.
To add even more confusion to their disappearance, the sisters reportedly sent a strange message to their landlady around the time they were last seen.

The police issued an update in their appeal to the community as the search for these two women continues. The note from Police Scotland states that Eliza Huszti and Henrietta Huszti were last seen on Market Street at the Victoria Bridge over the River Dee around 2:12 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. They crossed the bridge and used a footpath heading toward the Aberdeen Boat Club.
The sisters’ landlady reportedly received a text from Henrietta’s phone during this early morning walk.

Police confirmed the text was sent while Henrietta was near the Victoria Bridge at 2:12 a.m. While police didn’t release the exact wording of the text, they did report that it indicated that the two women would not be returning to their apartment.
Afterward, the phone was disconnected from the cellular network. It has not been active since. The following day, the sisters’ belongings were found still in the apartment. Their landlady contacted police.
On January 6, the day before their disappearance, the sisters were seen walking along Victoria Bridge in the afternoon. Footage shows the two women spent five minutes on the bridge and footpath. They were both wearing backpacks and did not interact with anyone else.
Police would like anyone who may have seen the two women to come forward. “Although the sisters didn’t engage with anyone else at this time, the area would have been busy and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen them,” Superintendent David Howieson said.
For now, police are focusing their search efforts on the River Dee. In the coming days, authorities plan to use specialist resources in the search. So far, the investigation has produced no evidence to suggest “suspicious circumstances or criminality.”
In the meantime, the authorities will continue to provide updates. “We remain in regular contact with Eliza and Henrietta’s family in Hungary,” Howieson said. “And we will continue to provide them with support at this very difficult time.”
