Hilaria Baldwin Takes Drastic Measures To Keep Toilet Clean In Home With 4 Sons

Hilaria Baldwin is famously a mom to seven kids, which means she’s had to get creative when it comes to keeping her home clean. Wanting to ensure that her toilets remain clean — especially with four sons (plus husband Alec Baldwin) in the house — Hilaria is trying out a new strategy. At this point, it seems to be working.

On February 2, Hilaria shared a video of her toilet on Instagram. As a reminder to her sons, Rafael Thomas, 9, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 8, Romeo Alejandro David, 6, and Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas, 4, she decorated the toilet with decals. In the video, when Hilaria lifts the toilet lid up, the large sticker on it is hard to miss. It reads, “Keep calm and lift the seat before you pee.”

It doesn’t end there though. When she lifted up the toilet seat, she revealed another straightforward message: “Put me down.” The clip then cut to a sign that Hilaria has behind her seat. It shows a black cat holding a toothbrush and reads, “If you pee on the seat, I will scrub it with your toothbrush.”

Over the video, Hilaria wrote, “I have 4 sons so I do what I must.” In the caption, she noted that she “got the stickers online” and they seem to be getting the message across so far. “Few days in and it’s a pee free seat!” she wrote. “Seems to be working — I highly recommend.”

In the comments, many parents praised the mom of seven for her “fabulous idea.”

“Brilliant Mom resourcefulness!” one person commented on the post.

Another Instagram user wrote: “Ok I need to do this! I have been having this same problem!”

“Will it work for my husband?” a third person joked.

Some fans also offered different solutions to this common problem. One person wrote: “The underside of my toilet seat says, in Sharpie marker, ‘Please, sit to pee!’ I’m not putting up with any of that mess.”

The Baldwin family will be the subject of a new reality series titled The Baldwins. The show will “invite viewers into the home they share with their seven growing kids.” It premieres on Sunday, February 23, on TLC.
