Financier Josh Connor, who reportedly used to be friends with Kevin Costner, proposed to Christine on January 26. In January 2024, a source told People that Christine and Josh had already been dating for months.

Christine filed for divorce from Kevin in May 2023. A couple months later, in July, she went on vacation with Josh. The fact that Christine and Josh were friends first provided “a really strong foundation” for their romantic relationship, an insider previously told People.

Kevin has addressed some of the rumors, saying that he and Jewel are “friends” who have “never gone out ever.”
