What to Know
Progressive podcaster Jennifer Welch is not exactly popular among conservatives. She previously sparked tons of backlash when she said people who voted for President Donald Trump should get their “fat a–es” out of Mexican, Chinese, and Indian restaurants. And now, she’s made people angry again by mocking Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk.
On a recent episode of the I’ve Had It podcast, which she co-hosts, Jennifer donned a black shirt and a black cap, just like Erika did during a video for The Charlie Kirk Show earlier this week. She did not hold back when criticizing Erika, as she also accused her of acting like an “unhinged f—ing maniac.”
Jennifer copied Erika’s signature stare and accused her of dressing like an “assassin.”

To be fair, she is not the only person who has questioned Erika’s outfit choice. But to make her point very clear, she wore a very similar outfit and mocked Erika by saying, “When we’re speaking about assassins, it’s important to cosplay as an assassin.”
During the podcast, Jennifer shared several clips from Erika’s recent video. In one of them, Erika criticized late-night host Jimmy Kimmel for his joke about Melania Trump looking like an “expectant widow.” Of course, Jimmy made this joke before the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and he was joking about Melania and President Donald Trump’s age gap, not assassination.
However, that didn’t stop Erika from acting like Jimmy was joking about the president being assassinated. She asked viewers to consider how they would feel if someone made a joke like that about their husband. After playing that clip, Jennifer mocked Erika. “How would you feel?” Jennifer asked in the same way Erika did. She then stared dramatically into the camera in an Erika-inspired way. “How would you feel if the President of the United States said he wanted to wipe out an entire population? How would you feel if your husband said because he’s famous, he can ‘grab them by the p—-?'”
The podcaster also addressed Erika’s complaints about Druski.
Comedian Druski has also gone viral for mocking Erika in a comedy skit about conservative white women. Though he did not name Erika in the skit, she seems to know it was about her. Jennifer played a clip of Erika saying, “I have comedians dressing up in whiteface. I have people saying I’m not fit to be CEO. And I have Candace Owens claiming I murdered my husband. And the list goes on and on and on.”
Once again, Jennifer mocked Erika. Pretending to be her, she said, “I get on camera, and I show everybody how bat—- crazy I am. And the evidence goes on and on and on. And I will not stop.”
Jennifer explained that she chose to dress and act like Erika to emphasize just how strange her recent video was. “I just cannot state enough: she came out of a break, a 24-hour break, of spending time with her family, dressed as an assassin,” Jennifer argued. “If you think I look ridiculous and I’m acting ridiculous, you are spot-on. This is f—ing crazy.”
People had a lot to say about the podcast episode.
On the I’ve Had It YouTube channel, comments were generally positive. “The impression is on point,” one fan commented. Someone else wrote, “Epic takedown Jen! I’m still laughing.”
However, clips from the episode are also circulating on X, where reactions were extremely mixed. Critics called Jennifer’s commentary “evil,” “repulsive,” and “cringe.”
