Actress Jennifer Welch did not mince her words when talking about how she feels about people who voted for President Donald Trump three times. Reacting to Trump’s immigration crackdown and anti-LGBTQ policies, Jennifer slammed Trump voters who continue to enjoy the benefits of diversity and inclusion while voting against it.
“I’ve had it with white people that triple Trumped (and) have the nerve and the audacity to walk into a Mexican restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, an Indian restaurant, go to, perhaps, their gay hairdresser,” the Sweet Home star stated.
She argued that those who voted for Trump should not “be able to enjoy anything but Cracker Barrel.” The topic came up on her I’ve Had It podcast, which she co-hosts with Angie “Pumps” Sullivan. The podcast is pretty self-explanatory in that the co-hosts talk about things they’ve had it with, such as people who voted for Trump three times and still go to Mexican restaurants.
In a clip shared on Instagram and YouTube, Jennifer continued to explain her stance. She slammed Trump voters who don’t support DEI programs, gay people, Black people, or immigrants, but then continue to take advantage of multiculturalism. In particular, she drew attention to those who “wanna browbeat this generation of immigrants that come over here and open up businesses (and) pay their taxes” and “wanna demonize (immigrants) and call them ‘rapists’ and ‘felons’ when the felon is the teeny, weeny mushroom c— piece of s— cankles McTaco sits at the top of the ticket.”
She made it very clear that she has “had it” with “white people that triple Trump” and said they “should be banned … from enjoying the best thing that America has to offer, which is multiculturalism.”
On Instagram, many fans said Jennifer “nailed it,” while critics accused her of being too divisive. Those who agreed with Jennifer said the Trump voters who go to Mexican restaurants or travel to Mexico are being “hypocritical.”
“Also the same white women that are getting their nails and eyelashes done by amazing Vietnamese women,” one person pointed out. Another fan added, “And they’re always going to Mexico on vacation.”
