Jesse Watters Told Women On Military Bases To ‘Watch Out’ For Testosterone-Boosted Soldiers

The Department of War is between war triumphs right now, so Secretary of War Pete Hegseth (who is still dutifully referred to as the Secretary of Defense by some, thank you very much) announced a new protocol that has more to do with actual soldiers than starting another conflict. He shared that male soldiers will be tested for their testosterone levels and that some men will be given the opportunity to have testosterone treatments afterward.

Afterward, Jesse Watters spoke about it on Fox News and joked that women on military bases and women in ports where soldiers might arrive should “watch out.” As in, they should keep an eye on the men who might get treatments for low testosterone or even average testosterone levels. But the so-called joke fell flat for plenty of people who watched Watters laugh at his own poorly timed lines.

Jesse Watters joked that women should “watch out” for the soldiers.

In a clip shared on X (formerly Twitter), Watters mentions how he believes men who don’t even medically need any sort of testosterone treatments may opt for it under Hegseth’s protocol for testing male soldiers. And that, Watters says before he laughs at his own distasteful joke, is what women need to look out for.

“You know what’s gonna happen?” Watters says in the clip to other people on the panel on The Five. “The guys that don’t need it are gonna take it to triple boost. And then they’re gonna get out there and women on base, you guys better be careful. Port calls men in Asia? You better be careful, because these guys are gonna be wild animals. You better watch out.”

The other hosts on the panel appear to be at a loss for words after Watters seems to pause for laughs or their feedback. They do finally speak, but Watters’ comments and his timing seem to make them speechless, at least for a few seconds that somehow feel like the longest seconds ever on live television.

Pete Hegseth said testosterone screening is part of military protocol now.

Watters’ comments and apparent joke about women needing to “watch out” for the insinuated sexual assault at the hands of United States soldiers with unusually high levels of testosterone came after Hegseth announced his expectations for military soldiers. In a video that Hegseth shared on X, he announced his plans to address testosterone in the military.

“Under the supervision of our world-class medical professionals, war fighters age 30 and older are going to be tested annually as part of their periodic health assessment,” he says in the video. “This initiative, it’s not about artificial enhancement’ it’s about restoring and optimizing your natural capabilities, protecting your longevity, and ensuring you have the biological foundation required to sustain the fight.”

Someone get this guy a new war to weasel his way into already, because clearly he’s bored. OK, not really,  but there has to be something else he can focus on outside of low T for male soldiers, because this feels so unnecessary.

The Fox News comments left people pretty shook.

After the Watters clip was posted on X, users commented on the post to share their disgust within the longtime Fox News host. Some called for him to be fired, while others shared plenty of expletives to describe their feelings toward him from even before he made the testosterone comments. Of course, his comments only amplified those feelings for many.

“This reprehensible individual should be fired immediately for his disgusting comment about women getting raped,” one X user wrote. “Despicable. There is nothing funny about it. @FoxNews FIRE @JesseBWatters.”

Another wrote, “What an absolutely wild and abhorrent representation of our service men and women. Just a complete f–kstick of a human @JesseBWatters.”

To that comment, someone else responded, “Agreed, how they say they are for family values with a straight face, I’ll never know. Imagine if you have a daughter serving in the military and you’re already worried about safety due to a new war, now you gotta worry about her being raped by some doped out roided up meathead.”
