Influencer Tries SKIMS Micro Teddy And Immediately Questions Who It Actually ‘Fits’

Skims prides itself on being a size-inclusive brand. On paper, at least. But does that mean that the products actually fit “everybody?” Kim Kardashian has been mocked in the past over her brand’s tiny thong that allegedly “fits everybody.” And now, an influencer has questions about Kim’s Micro Teddy from the brand’s Fits Everybody collection. Like, who is this “everybody” that Kim speaks of?

Influencer Remi Bader thought she would test the product out herself to see if the brand’s claims were true. She found that you could maybe, possibly argue that the Micro Teddy technically “fits everybody” — but with very mixed results.

She tried the product on in a video that really speaks for itself.

Her commentary was also hilarious. She began with, “For $58 you can have your very own floss up your a–hole.”

She clarified that she loves Kim, but at the same time, wants to know “what they were thinking in terms of this device and how one gets it on.” She clearly struggled to figure out how you’re actually meant to put this “device” on, and when she did have it on, the coverage it offered was shocking minimal. Like, almost nonexistent.

Remi took issue with the “Fits Everybody” label.

Because maybe you could argue that the Micro Teddy is not for everyone. Those who get it, get it, presumably? And those who are looking for more coverage can choose other items. Except Skims specifically has this product listed under its “Fits Everybody” category.

“Whomst is everybody?” Remi questioned. “Because this doesn’t even fit the small part of my nipple.”

Maybe Kim has a different definition of “fits?” At the end of the video, Remi tried to figure out how she could get the product to fit better. Once she finally felt like she was wearing it in the way it was intended to be worn, she found it still covered… nothing, essentially. It also did not look even the slightest bit comfortable.

In spite of the discomfort and lack of coverage, she joked that she would wear the Micro Teddy to her friend’s house. “I’m going to a friend’s house tonight,” she said. “There’s a chef cooking for us. And I think I’m gonna where this. Because you wanna know why? Because it fits everyone.”

People in the comments found this hilarious.

Skims might claim it’s for “everybody,” but people in the comments were trying to figure out where the Micro Teddy is meant to be worn.

“What is it for?” someone questioned. “Swimwear. Sleepwear. Workout. Wrestling. What.”

“What in the world would you wear that with?” another commenter wrote. “I love skims but that’s insane.”

“It didn’t come with a tutorial??! 💀” a third person added. People appreciated the video, and the whole “fits everybody” thing rubbed them the wrong way as well. “‘Fits everyone,'” a fourth commenter wrote. “I hate it here 😂”

To make it even worse, this might not even be the most ridiculous item that the brand has claimed “fits everybody.” Previously, the brand promoted a thong that looked more like an eye patch to critics online. Although Skims tried to say that this thong, too, would fit “everybody,” critics argued that it would actually fit no one, “not even a Barbie.”
