It’s nothing new for Donald Trump to use Truth Social to share his thoughts, hopes, dreams, and grievances with the rest of the world. It’s why the platform was invented, after all. So when people notice that Trump is in the middle of a social media posting frenzy on Truth Social, it’s not exactly a huge shocker.
But it’s always a wild ride to see what Trump posts about, and what he wants to tell the world, through his almost nonstop Truth Social posts and status updates on any given day that ends in ‘y.’ In this case, he posted about pretty much everything he could think of, from family photos to baseball and content he has posted before.
Donald Trump’s social media posts were all over the place.
On Aug. 26, 2026, Trump took to Truth Social around noon and began a posting frenzy. Which, again, is nothing new for the president. But the content of his posts on his platform were kind of all over the place. He posted about the state of Washington, D.C. when Joe Biden was president versus his second term. He shared an article about the dated news of a highway sign in Florida being changed to President Donald Trump Int’l Airport to reflect the change in the airport name in Palm Beach, Fla.
At the time, Trump also posted a random photo of the exterior hallway outside of the Oval Office. There was no explanation for the photo, just the picture on its own. Almost like a random Facebook photo you might see a parent or grandparent post.
Whenever Trump goes on a social media posting spree, his content revolves around a central idea, like his critics, or the “fake news.” In this case, it seemed to be more about, well, everything that came to mind for him while working in the Oval Office between meetings.
His posts ranged from family photos to commentary on baseball.
Among Trump’s seemingly random posts during the hour-long window on Truth Social, he also re-shared a picture someone posted of him with his parents. The original post said, “The parents who save the world.” He then posted a black and white photo, also from someone else’s post, featuring Trump as a kid in military school.
Trump also posted about former baseball player Roger Clemons.
He wrote, “How about Roger Clemens not being in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, New York, all because a bunch of jealous people with far less Talent, voted that he shouldn’t be there. He was also not convicted, or admitted, to taking Drugs. Roger is easily one of the few Greatest Pitchers of All Time, winning 354 Games, 7 Cy Young Awards (A Record, by 3!), and played in three World Series, winning two! He was third in most Strike-Outs. The Commissioner told me he was going to approve Pete Rose, but he waited long enough until Pete died. No wonder Baseball is in trouble! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”
Donald Trump probably has help with posting on social media.
If Trump actually typed and posted the Truth Social posts himself, that might be the most surprising thing of all. One of his closest aides, Natalie Harp, has reportedly been nicknamed the “human printer,” because she prints out the most favorable stories about Trump for him anytime he needs. She has also been seen typing up social media posts for Trump as he dictates them.
Was she also responsible for helping Trump post repeatedly during that Wednesday hour? It’s entirely possible, given her experience as his White House aide.
