She might look like Jenny from the block, but a woman whose mugshot strongly resembles Jennifer Lopez is far from the multi-millionaire singer and actress who loves a good ham and cheese on a roll. Unfortunately for JLo, though, that’s all people are talking about when it comes to 35-year-old Cyrena Anne Quast.
Quast’s mugshot was shared across social media, including on Facebook and on Instagram. In both cases, people can’t get over the resemblance Quast shares with JLo. They might live extremely different lifestyles, but the mugshot sort of ties them together in a major way. Hey, if JLo ever needs a stunt double to fool the press, she has one now.

Quast’s mugshot quickly went viral across multiple social media platforms after most users agreed that she looks too much like JLo to ignore the similarities. In Quast’s mugshot, she has a high half ponytail, hoop earrings, and general bone structure that makes her look a lot like the former American Idol judge.
Thanks to social media, mugshots that are particularly interesting or wherein the alleged criminal looks like a celebrity tend to go viral more often than not. In 2014, a California man named Jeremy Meeks went viral after people noticed his mugshot, where he straight mogged the camera. He was later given professional modeling opportunities.
Quast probably isn’t going to get a walk-on role in JLo’s next movie, but if the mugshot comes across her own social media profiles, maybe JLo will at least consider it. They say everyone has a twin out there, and Quast could legitimately be hers. Well, maybe more of a fraternal twin, but you get the point.
People quickly compared the two women.
A user in a reality TV Facebook fan group shared a side-by-side image of Quast and JLo and noted that it’s hard to tell the ladies apart in some ways. Some people even mistook Quast for JLo at first, thinking the actress and singer had gotten into trouble with the law. But nope, it’s just her long-lost twin, apparently.
“Welp, she might have a job waiting for her when she gets out,” someone joked in the comments. “JLo going to hire her just like Usher hired a double.”
“She looks like JLo when she uses that filter that mirrors half your face,” another person added.
The mugshot was also reposted on Instagram. While it appears to be slightly altered, without the facial piercings that Quast’s original photo has, it is still a solid representation of how much Quast looks like JLo.
Under that post, a user wrote, “In prison she’s known as Jenny from D-Block!”
“Damn, could’ve made a career being a body double or something,” another person wrote.
Others kept joking about her being Jenny from the block and about Quast being another version of JLo thanks to a “glitch in the matrix.”
The woman’s crime details were released.
According to Daily Mail, Quast was arrested in Minnesota for a misdemeanor charge of theft after she allegedly stole power tool batteries worth almost $600 from a store. Her arrest record includes other offenses, including drug charges, fleeing the police, and a DWI.
Her record is colorful to say the least, but hey, so is JLo’s relationship track record. They’re basically the same person at this point.
