The drama never seems to stop with the royal family.
Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot, the new duchess' father, Thomas Markle, hasn't been able to stop doing interviews dishing on his toxic relationship with his daughter. In his latest tirade, a nine-hour session with the Daily Mail, he makes a number of wild new claims, but perhaps the most notable is that Meghan has changed all her numbers and cut him off completely.
With these bonkers stories continuing to make headlines, everyone has formed an opinion on the subject — including celebrities. Chrissy Teigen decided to chime in with her opinion on Twitter (a favorite pastime of hers).
But Chrissy's tweet didn't sit well with Samantha Grant, Meghan's older sister, so Samantha fired back at the Lip Sync Battle star in a big way, and the reaction has been… well, it's not been pretty.
We've got all the bickering and reactions right here.
Here's the latest headline that started it all:
In this interview, Thomas repeats a lot of the claims he's already made previously, most notably that Meghan and the royal family are blacklisting him. He also adds that Meghan would be "nothing" without him.
So here come's Chrissy with gasp an opinion on what's making headlines lately. And to be fair, her take on the matter is the most popular one.
Reactions to Chrissy's tweet are overwhelmingly positive.
In case you missed it, Thomas didn't walk his daughter down the aisle, officially due to health issues, but it's widely suspected that his behavior and schemes with the paparazzi played a role in the decision as well.
And Meghan's equally loud half-sister (we'll get to her shortly) has also previously made headlines with her outspoken defense of her father.
Most people seem to think that, were Thomas to simply dial it back a little bit in the press, maybe fences could be mended.
But with every new interview and all the increasingly crazy accusations, reconciliation seems less and less likely.
Back to the meat of the story: Samantha wasn't as big a fan of Chrissy's opinion as everyone else was.
Samantha popped off from her private account, using some particularly colorful phrasing in her clap-back.
But as many were quick to point out, it's not the smartest idea to come after the Queen of Twitter on her home turf.
Turns out, Samantha didn't get a ton of support from the Twitterverse.
Many who've followed this story for the past couple months wasted no time calling a spade a spade.
It's becoming a Markle family tradition: say outlandish things to win a bit of notoriety and make a little money on the side.
Chrissy hasn't responded to Samantha yet — and at this point we'd be surprised if she did — but you know the response would be absolutely barbaric.
And then let's not forget that Chrissy is a Sports Illustrated cover model, so attacking her looks is both shallow and objectively wrong.
And as always, there were the gifs.

This is a thing we didn't know we should be wishing for, but now we can't stop thinking about it.

Life lesson: If you're going to come after Chrissy Teigen, you're going to get cut to pieces!
