The story of Santa Inocencia, a.k.a St. Innocence, is one that dates back 300 years ago.
Legend has it that Santa Inocencia's father banned her, a young Roman girl, from practicing Catholicism. In an act of defiance, the girl secretly befriended a nun and joined the Catholic church.
She took her Holy Communion and returned home — and that's when her own father stabbed her to death in an act of fury. The horrifying murder was considered one of the first persecutions against the Catholic faith. In turn, Santa Inocenci became a martyr.
The remains of Santa Inocencia were eventually transferred to the Cathedral of Guadalajara in Mexico and certified as a relic. Dressed in a white ceremonial gown, the corpse has been preserved in wax and placed in a glass box.
To this day, tourists flock to the Cathedral to visit St. Innocence.
Recently, a tourist was standing in front of the corpse when he caught a chilling moment on video that's taking the internet by storm.

Later that day, Inocencia returned home to tell her father the exciting news, hoping he would support her decision.
In an act of fury, he plunged a knife into her chest and killed her.
Santa Inocencia's murder was considered one of the first persecutions against the Catholic faith. She was buried in the Santa Ciriaca cemetery of Rome, Italy.
In 1786, her body was exhumed and acquired by a wealthy priest. Inocencia's remains were brought to the Cathedral of Guadalajara in Mexico.
They were certified as a relic and symbolized the love of Eucharist.
Santa Inocencia's corpse has been preserved in wax and placed behind glass. She is still dressed in her white ceremonial gown.
Underneath her corpse is a plaque that tells her fascinating story.
Tourists continue to flock to Santa Inocencia's corpse to pay homage to the "bride dressed for eternity."
It is believed that if "marriageable women" come and read their prayers before the "Holy Innocence" they will soon meet and marry the loves of their lives.
In a terrifying viral video, a tourist claims to have caught Santa Inocencia looking straight into the camera and blinking her eyes.
The short clip — which purports she has come "back from the dead" — has gone massively viral with more than 800,000 YouTube views.
While some viewers believe it's a haunting display of paranormal activity, others say it's all a cleverly designed hoax.
One commenter says, "If you zoom in you can see he edited the image, the eyes are fake."
Another writes, "Yes, it looks like her eyes open towards the end of the video but how can it be possible?"
