Dad Transforms The Garage, Now His Mother-In-Law Lives Inside

After Martin Brown had his son, his mother-in-law wanted to live nearby. Boy, was she in for a treat. Brown decided to turn his garage into the grandmother's own personal sanctuary.

Now she gets all the privacy she needs, but can visit with her grandson as often as she likes. Not to mention, the interior is absolutely stunning.

From the inside and outside, you would never be able to tell that this new home is supposed to house a car.

The garage is 140 square feet. It took Brown an entire year of planning, but was finished with the renovations in six months. Built in 1922, the garage remains the same shape with a concrete floor. However, the new purple paint job makes it look like a tiny house.

Brown installed skylights, large glass doors, a convertible sofa bed, and kitchen bar area that would be covetable in any home. There's even an upstairs.

The second floor is just large enough to get some extra privacy, with enough space to fit a huge bed, small closet, and reading nook. There is even a complete bathroom!

I don't know about you, but I would love to live in a home as stunning as these cozy living quarters. What do you think of the garage-turned-home? Let us know in the comments!
