I remember when I was a kid, I was so excited to finally be able to go on the big kid bus with my older sister.
It was like an unknown world, a place 'without parents,' and a rite of passage in so many ways.
But, for my mom? It was a whole other story.
She was, and still is, a worrier. Worried I'd have a lollipop in my mouth, worried I'd be standing and fall if the bus stopped short, worried I'd get out and not look both ways before crossing the street or stepping onto the solid ground.
And while I always thought she was a bit crazy, I know now she just loves me, and she was right for worrying!
There are so many horrible stories about children getting hurt, or hit by cars that don't pay attention to the road. You really can never be too safe.
Which is exactly why my mom would love this video.
Someone driving behind this school bus took out their phone to start recording when they noticed that the bus driver was taking a zig-zag route down each straight road.
You might be angry if you see this, and jump to conclusions that the bus driver is not sober or something of that sort. But, you'll be pleasantly surprised when you realize he's doing this to block the road and make sure that his kids get off safely.
